In 2004-2005, Alexa Brunet and Florence Vialettes traveled through ex-Yugoslavia: Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Kosovo, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina to document the state of these fragmented territories. This series is extracted from the book POST ex-Yugoslavia, published by Editions Le Bec en l'Air. They chose to confront their perception of the same region of the world and question the mutations of societies struggling to find their place in contemporary Europe. The intention to anchor the images in a given space-time makes Post a state of the territories of the former Yugoslav republics in the context of a no longer eventful current affairs.
